CONNECTING PERFORMERS TO AUDIENCES THROUGH ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS

Welcome

I’m Tanner, and I'm currently Assistant Professor of Music at Peru State College. My favorite thing is collaborating with other artists to create new, exciting music! I also have a passion for education and love sharing what my teachers and mentors have taught me with other people.

Beyond composing, I am also active as a performer on both guitar and french horn. I especially love playing for musical theatre. I can’t wait to collaborate with you on future projects!

Listen To My Work

inside voices highlights a person’s anxiety and inner thoughts. The piece begins in a quiet and isolated setting, with our main character left with nothing but their own thoughts. As the music progresses, anxiety shifts into full panic and the performer begins to play more frantic and agitated. While not directly related, the piece was inspired by the isolation many of us have felt during quarantine in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trevor Landreth premiered inside voices during his faculty recital at Hutchinson (KS) Community College.
