program notes

Gaudium, Latin for "joy," was written for the Horn studio of Texas A&M University - Commerce for the annual Holiday Gala. While not based on any holiday songs, the fanfare evokes a festive spirit appropriate for the holiday season. A version for Flute choir is also availiable, and both verisons come with an optional sleigh bell part to add more festive joy to the performance.
